As a nonprofit organization, New Avenues depends upon support from the community to achieve our mission.  Since 2015, our annual Applause events have helped us raise over $350,000 in funds to support the amazing people we serve.

Taking place at a rotating event space each fall, Applause gathers friends, supporters, family members, and the individuals we serve for a fun and inspiring night filled with food, drinks, music and dancing, a keynote speaker, auctions, raffles, a wine pull and more—all as we celebrate the achievements of people with disabilities and honor the work of those who advocate for them. Support for this event helps us ensure that people with Down Syndrome, autism, and other disabilities are empowered to live independently, enjoying lives that are fulfilled and successful.
