New Avenues provides an array of inclusion services for adults with disabilities who want to be actively engaged in their communities. We provide support in the areas of competitive employment and community membership.

 

Our inclusion services are customized to assist each person in reaching their personal and professional goals. We work with people individually and in small groups (generally four people or fewer). All services are provided in community settings that are accessible to the general public. We utilize non-disability-specific resources, such as public transportation, whenever possible.

 

All services are focused on assisting each person we serve to attain the highest level of independence possible. Staff provide teaching and coaching services in real life situations and assist individuals to cultivate relationships with community members. Services are intended to fade over time as each person develops skills and social connections that enable them to participate in community life without paid supports.
