CLEVELAND, OH, November, 2015 – “New Hope. New Beginnings. New Year. New Avenues.” is the theme for New Avenues to Independence’s 31st Annual Holiday Ball, to celebrate the season with individuals who participate in our programs, their families, donors and supporters of New Avenues. The Super Heroes to Kids in Ohio will be visiting for the fourth year in a row to entertain the individuals whom New Avenues serves as well as all guests. They consist of a group of business professionals who dress up as well known Super Heroes to bring joy to individuals in need. Lydia Esparra, TV19, will be the evening’s emcee once again recognizing outstanding individuals with a special awards presentation.
The festivities will take place Tuesday, December 1st at the American‐Croatian Lodge in Eastlake. For the over 750 individuals with disabilities that New Avenues serves, this is the most anticipated event of the year. It is an opportunity to bring an evening of joy and happiness to these deserving individuals during the holiday season. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour complete with hors d’ oeuvres from 6 – 7:00 p.m. The dinner will be a gourmet buffet including dessert starting at 7:00 p.m. After dinner there will be a recognition presentation, dancing and entertainment that will go until 10:00 p.m. There’s even a rumor going around that Santa may make a surprise visit! Tickets are $40 per person. To sponsor an individual the cost is $40 for just the Holiday Ball or $125 which includes the Holiday Ball, transportation, dinner, entertainment, an outfit for the occasion, a trip to the salon and assistance by a staff member.
Sponsors are being solicited because this event is funded entirely by donations. The benefits of sponsorship for corporations, individuals and families are recognition in all marketing materials by degrees of contribution ranging from $250 to $5,000 and tickets to the Ball. New Avenues is committed to assisting individuals live as independently as possible. The Holiday Ball helps these determined men and women build their self‐esteem, strengthen their social skills and enhance their sense of well being.
