Support for the Children's Programs

Once again this year, New Avenues has received generous grant awards from the Reinberger Foundation and the MAXIMUS Charitable Foundation for our Children’s Programs. These vital programs provide unique opportunities for children with special needs, helping them to build the necessary foundation to live their adult lives as independently as possible. We are so very grateful to these foundations for their continued commitment to the future of our special children.
The Reinberger Foundation was established by Clarence and Louise Reinberger in 1966 and is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals from all walks of life by supporting organizations and programs that promote personal growth and self-sufficiency through improved health, augmented child and family development, and community development. The Foundation has very generously  distributed over $104,000,000 to the non-profit community since its founding in 2000, and continues to be managed by several generations of the Reinberger family.

“The financial support from the Reinberger Foundation and the MAXIMUS Charitable Foundations makes such a difference for the Children’s Programs,” says Cheryl General, Children’s Programs Director. “It allows us to replace equipment and materials and to provide special programs and events for the children.  The children and their families love our programs, and we couldn’t do all we do without this support!”
