High School students get lesson in inclusion

print

For the second year in a row, Perry High School planned a service experience for seven students focused on issues related to inclusion and employment of people with special needs.  On Thursday, March 21
st, the group visited the Perry Home for a tour, dinner and games, and on Friday, March 22nd, they visited Buckeye Industries, Eastlake. The experience helped to familiarize the students with services available to people with special needs in Lake County and understand how far we’ve come in terms of including people in work and community life.
