The Perry Community came together in a big way to raise much needed funds for the Perry Home on Saturday, May 25th, at the Perry Community Center. Jessica Toivonen, Perry Home Manager and Cari Lucas, Primary Nurse, brought together a great group of volunteers. They created an incredible Chinese Auction that raised nearly $3,600 for the home! There were 148 fabulous items to bid on, all donated by generous businesses in the community, friends and family members. Allan Fee from Q104 was extremely entertaining as emcee and really got the crowd going!

The money raised directly benefits the individuals of Perry Home by assisting, for example, with personal needs that are not covered by Medicaid and home repairs and updates.

On behalf of New Avenues and the seven men and two women who reside at the Perry Home, thank you to all who participated!
