Buckeye Industries won First Prize and a $500 award in the second annual Ohio State University Nisonger Center’s In’Sights’ photography competition, “People at Work.” The photo titled “Laughter at Work” is of Howard Burts, an individual with a disability, who works at Buckeye Industries recycling paper, cardboard, StyrofoamTM and medical plastics. The photo was shot by Reen Nemeth of the Cleveland Clinic, a business partner of Buckeye Industries.

Management and staff of Buckeye Industries attended an awards dinner and presentation in Columbus on June 11. Buckeye Industries won out over nonprofits from across all of Ohio.
