New Avenues offers an inspection program to landlords providing housing to individuals with disabilities. Our inspection process is based on the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Housing Quality Standards. Please note that these inspections are not client specific. This means that we will only inspect the properties for compliance with the established housing standards, not for suitability to meet client-specific needs, including accessibility. We can conduct pre-lease inspections, annual inspections, and for-cause inspections. After the results are provided to the landlord, our inspector will give recommendations for next steps if there is a need beyond our scope of work that is required to verify a system-specific issue. For scheduling purposes, New Avenues requires notice for all inspections.
