New Avenues has developed a continuum of services, meeting the changing needs of individuals with disabilities throughout the course of their lifetime. New Avenues’ programs are currently serving over 700 individuals, ages 3-100 years in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Summit counties, Ohio. The individuals served include those with disabilities and chronic health conditions such as developmental disabilities, mental illness, autism, cerebral palsy, brain injury, and Down syndrome.

Because New Avenues has, over time, evolved into an organization that serves a population of individuals with diverse special needs, comprehensive care is provided for the individuals served. New Avenues has a Clinical Services Department comprised of a nursing staff charged with overseeing the health of individuals receiving services from New Avenues. In addition, New Avenues offers physical, occupational, speech, art, music and recreational therapies.
