Duties

• attend games, provide verbal encouragement and support 

• assist individuals with understanding of game rules and procedures

• assist with skill development

• encourage participation and interaction with others

• volunteer may need to use physical assistance

• volunteer will primarily be working with residents from New Avenues; however, the team itself consists of others in the community with mental retardation

Qualifications

• love of baseball/softball!  

• no experience necessary

• willingness to give hands-on assistance as needed

• ability to provide encouragement

• enthusiasm!

Schedule

• Seasonal: June through August 

• 6-9pm on Thursdays  

• games are held at the field at Notre Dame University on Green Road
