Duties

• socialize with residents/consumers who have little or no family contact

• spend time talking about their day (work, classes,  friends, etc.) and perhaps do some simple activities such as puzzles, making snack, watching a video, reading a story, writing a letter for them, etc.)

Qualifications

• no special qualifications  

• volunteer would be spending time with various individuals, and would need to allow for flexibility

• should be caring, patient and willing to listen

• ability to lead discussion

Schedule

• evenings after 6:00pm or anytime on weekends

• once per week requested.
