  • write letters to client

  • visits with client on grounds/ or off-grounds if desired

  • attend special events at New Avenues with  client

  • provide a supportive relationship with client

  • recognition of client milestones

An advocate supports a client with daily living activities.

Qualifications

  • enthusiasm and commitment! 

  • desire to work directly with client

  • must be reliable

Schedule

  • 1 year commitment required

  • hours vary with each relationship; however the important criteria is consistency
